Welcome!
I decided to share what I’m currently reading and my book reviews from Goodreads on this site – feel free to friend/follow me on there.
I generally use an e-reader for most books, mine’s a Kobo Glo – the model is now pretty much obsolete but it still works a treat so no need currently to upgrade. I like Kobo models because they use a standard file type, you can drag and drop new content in or buy from the online store, it’s not over-complicated, it’s a great size to slip in a bag and carry with me pretty much everywhere and of course, has the all important backlight. With the Kobo app I can sync to my phone or tablet, which I tend to use if I’m reading something which is a bit more than just text.
Kobo run a VIP programme where you can accrue points for each book you buy and use those points to buy new books. It does cost £6/year but I definitely save more than that by being a member. No, I’m not an affiliate and this isn’t an ad – it just works for me! I do buy a lot of books – don’t you find that e-readers make it easy to hide what a book hoarder you are?!
