Hi, I’m Cath Rodkoff, a middle aged woman undergoing a mid life crisis. I like cats, curry, cooking and singing. And now cycling it seems.
Boring you mostly from funky Chilwell, Nottinghamshire though I’m a Yorkshire lass by birth.
I run a number of women only led bike rides with Breeze or ride or am online with Nottingham Girls Cycle if you want to come and play! I’m also Vice Chair of British Cycling East Midlands Region and the regional board member with a portfolio of recreation, and am a trainee accredited marshall for road cycling races. Covid has pretty much put paid to me getting enough races under my belt to be a fully accredited marshall.
As a #SweatPledge ambassador, I love encouraging others to get sweaty. Why not make your own pledge at SweatPledge?
You might also catch me singing tenor – I know, radical – wherever you hear Ruddington Community Choir, naturally we’re mostly online since Covid hit in March 2020.
Or alternatively cheering on the mighty Nottingham Panthers from my sofa, but keen to get back to the arena when it’s safe.
In February 2021 during Lockdown 3.0 I started to learn to play ukulele. It’s slow progress with my uke, but it’s progress!
This is my personal site and very much represents only my own opinions. Even if they’re rubbish or you think they’re wrong. But don’t let’s fight about it – we can disagree and debate civilly, everyone’s entitled to their own opinions.
